Kneehigh and the Creative Space

Kneehigh and the Creative Space

A one day workshop in Leeds led by Mike Shepherd (Artistic Director).

Date: Wednesday 4th November

Time: 9am - 3pm

Venue: First Floor, St Peter's Building, 6 St Peter's Street, Leeds

Price: £50 per person

Mike has always been interested in the "creative space" and this workshop looks at some of the ways in which Kneehigh explore and generate ideas

We invite you to spend time with us and explore the conditions of creativity and the possibility of building a creative "toolkit" to be used in the generation and development of ideas. So – bring a story/idea or simplest notion which you're keen to explore and let's see what happens!

The workshop is for secondary school teachers and Arts Award facilitators. Spaces are limited so we recommend booking early.

Feedback from previous participants:

“It was such a refreshing change from the usual stiff, formal, talky CPD sessions that are laid on for teachers. I really enjoyed the relaxed, friendly and inspiring atmosphere…the balance of practical and the. The activities were constructive but not over-planned, leaving room for us to explore our own avenues and see where we ended up.”

"I particularly liked how the sessions were adapted to our particular and individual needs: extremely useful.”
