With Bosinver Farm Cottages's Pat Smith awarded Outstanding Contribution to Tourism, and Deborah Hinton raising money for St Petroc's Society.
Pat Smith, alongsider her husband Dave, runs Bosinver Farm Cottages in Treowth, just outside of St Austell. This has been a fantastic year for Bosinver with Pat awarded Outstanding Contribution to Tourism award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards this month. Pat says "it's amazing, it felt like a lifetime achievement award for me – being recognised by my peers from across the county was an unforgettable moment. I could not have achieved this success without my amazing team at Bosinver and my long-suffering husband, Dave, who holds the fort whilst I am out attending meetings or gathering ideas for projects. It really is teamwork that makes Bosinver the magical place that it is."
Also this month, Deborah Hinton spent the night outside The Eden Project lying on a cardboard box and a sack to raise awareness and money for the St Petroc's Society, who provide accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement services to single homeless people in Cornwall aged 16 - 65 years. Through her Moonlight Shiver, Deborah raised nearly £3,000.
Huge congratulations to both Deborah & Pat!
