We are delighted to announce the appointment of Keziah Serreau as Kneehigh’s new Associate Director.
Keziah joins us from Shakespeare’s Globe, where she was Staff Director, having previously worked as an associate to director Emma Rice for many years. She will work alongside Kneehigh’s Artistic Director Mike Shepherd on current shows, including The Tin Drum and The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk, as well as developing her own projects.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the wonderful Kneehigh team at such an exciting time. I have been in love with this company for years and ever since I first visited the barns. I am delighted to join such a brave, generous and outward looking company and to be able to develop work with them.”
And we're delighted too! Welcome to the Kneehigh family Keziah!
Ali Robertson, Executive Producer: “Kneehigh plans for the rest of 2017 and our steadily emerging plans for 2018 and beyond are extremely exciting. I’m thrilled to welcome Keziah at this point as we develop and shape these plans and I think she will be a wonderful part of the team as we build on our glorious history and move towards a bright future.”
Mike Shepherd, Artistic Director: “Keziah Serreau hails from a rich history of European circus and theatre. She has a quick wit, a keen eye and an enquiring mind. She can also stand on her head, light a fire and make a good cocktail...perfect for Kneehigh!"
