26th, 27th and 28th September 2014: Combine a trip to the Asylum with a feast of food and drink in Truro.
A key diary date for any gourmet and those who enjoy top quality fare, the Great Cornish Food Festival is the largest event anywhere dedicated to Cornish food and drink. It is a melting pot of the hard-working artisan producers and trail-blazing chefs that have earned the county its reputation as a destination for lovers of good food.
The centre of Truro will be transformed for three days of non-stop eating, drinking, trying and buying of the best from Cornwall’s tantalising larder. This year, celebrated seafood chef and staunch festival supporter, Nathan Outlaw, will headline a packed timetable of masterclasses, cooking challenges, tantalising tasting and loads of fun for food lovers of all ages. Over 60 exhibitors and more than 30 chefs and food experts will be taking part - and entrance is completely free of charge.
