Walk With Me: Moving Postcards and Instagram Stories

Walk With Me: Moving Postcards and Instagram Stories

About the Walk With Me photographs and films

As part of our Rambles Programme, local poet Anna Maria Murphy, began walking the roads less travelled of Cornwall in 2010, collecting stories and memories from people she meets along the way. Anna then edits and exaggerates the collection, to make an entertaining, and often moving, living landscape rooted in real people and places.

This year we have commissioned some of our finest Cornish artists to develop photographs and films to animate our favourite stories.

The Last Wave of Archie Cornish collected in Perranporth; Budgie Corner collected in Bodmin; The Glass Eye and Teeth collected in St Austell; The Frog Prince of Piece collected in Redruth. Photography by Steve Tanner.
