The Asylum

The Asylum is here. Our long-awaited, much dreamed about, jaw-dropping, spirit-lifting nomadic theatre space opened this summer, in Cornwall.

From 27th July 2010, the Kneehigh Asylum welcomed audiences into its belly at a site near Chiverton Cross, central Cornwall. In it, we presented three iconic shows from our past:

There were all manner of treats in store with world class theatre, gorgeous food from Archie Browns, The Cheese Shop and even a BBQ or two. Everyone enjoyed a drink at the Skinners Wink, listened to music, met friends - old and new, danced and laughed as we held a pure, unadulterated Kneehigh Knees-up.

Friday's were a particularly smashing night. With live music from the Kneehigh band, there werealso guest spots from the fabulous Baghdaddies on opening night, not to mention Dallawho joined us at the start of our final weekend in our brand new home.
