Soles with Souls

This summer saw the opening of the long-awaited, much-dreamed-about Asylum: a touring venue, a nomadic space, our brilliant, magical new tent.

Inspired by the summer's headlining show The Red Shoes, we offered 100 chances for people to get involved and show everyone their support of Kneehigh's work, passion and plans.

We worked with 100 special supporters to create a beautiful exhibition of their favourite footwear - from toe-tappers to clodhoppers, from baby's booties to ruby slippers. Kneehigh's photographer captured them in their best loved shoes and the images were part of an exhibition designed by Kneehigh artists.
