All character starts and ends with you. It is a product of your unique imagination. So first we must be comfortable being ourselves on stage. You have to be yourself before you can be someone else. Then we can find the spontaneity, surprise, risk, play and flare that makes performance exciting to watch.
What is special about Kneehigh performers is their ability to play, connect and go live. Katy has worked for Kneehigh for the last six years (most recently playing Ubu), and has designed this workshop to explore what makes us watchable, playful and exciting performers. To be brave and bold. To have fun. To give a massive f*ck and absolutely no f*cks all at the same time.
If you have access needs please book before Monday 14th September so we have time to make the necessary arrangements.
