Performer/Composer Dom Coyote of Kneehigh and Aimée Leonard, Voice/Singing Coach for London Southbank and Newcastle Universities, have joined forces to create brand new voice studio, WorkYourVoice. They help singers, actors and voice professionals develop versatile, healthy and authentic voices for performance.

Dom and Aimée have cooked up a special workshop in collaboration with Kneehigh.

We know now that for the foreseeable future, much of the theatre industry will be making shows outdoors. Performers will need their voices to be fit, healthy and immensely strong. This three hour workshop will give you exercises, techniques and strategies that can transform your vocal performance.

Dom and Aimée’s skill and experience as voice coaches and performers will help you find a whole new level of projection, clarity and versatility, whilst keeping your voices healthy and strong, so that when the time comes, your voice will be ready for anything.

Dom Coyote and Aimée Leonard

Dom is an award winning singer/songwriter, actor and voice coach. He is an associate artist with Kneehigh Theatre and has toured extensively with the company for the last ten years, most recently performing his signature style, ‘vocal gymnastics’ in the critically acclaimed Kneehigh’s Ubu! A Singalong Satire and The Tin Drum.  Dom has worked with a variety of high profile companies and theatres including The Old Vic, National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.  Dom’s work is always centred around the human voice. His taste is eclectic, as is his singing style. His vocal coaching technique reflects this versatility, enabling people to get the most out of their voices, whatever the style or situation.   Dom has worked extensively with Estill Voice Training for developing his own voice, he is currently studying to become an Estill Master Trainer.   Fun Fact: Dom used to be a teenage rapper with UK hip hop band ‘Arkane’!





Aimée Leonard is a certified Estill Master Trainer with a background in folk and contemporary music.  After years of touring the world with folk band ‘Anam’ Aimée became passionate about teaching voice and has dedicated the last 15 years to developing her practice. Currently she is the Voice and Singing Coach for London Southbank University Performance and Drama course and Singing Technique Tutor for the Traditional Folk Degree course at Newcastle University. As well as this she works for theatres and companies across the UK such as The Old Vic, National Theatre of Scotland, Rough Fiction and Kneehigh Theatre.  Fun Fact: Aimée performed with ‘The Voice Band’ in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1996 representing Ireland…oh, and they won!
